This is another page turner from Judy Folger. I was hooked from page One. I thought the characters were well developed and very human. In many ways the story was full of suspense as Michelle and her loves, Lisa and her love, and Karen and her love moved through their lives. I especially liked "The Boys". There has to be more to the story so do hope Folger writes a sequel. Lisa's Kiss is a book you don't want to miss.

The love triangle and the decision if she was going to continue the life style of a lesbian or not was interesting to say the least. Following their lives together was great. Loved the ups and downs of Serenity too! It kept me guessing through the entire book wondering who would end up with who. The writing style was like Patricia Cornwell (without the murders). Lots of drama! Will definitely read more from this author! Can't wait for the next one. Keep up the great work.
Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I think it was probably the fastest I've read a book in a long time - I just couldn't wait to see what happened next. I am new to this author, so I was so worried that I would be disappointed in the ending, but I definitely wasn't. I feel like I know the characters personally and I'm very hopeful that this will turn into a series of books. Excellent storyline and characters with a couple of good love scenes thrown in to add some spice. -) It's a must read!!!
I found this book to be a great read. Lisa is used to having everything her own way including playing with people's hearts. She has special feelings for Michelle and thinks she can continue playing with Michelle's like she has for so many years. Much to her surprise Michelle announces that she has fallen in love with Jennifer, who is charming and so much younger. A fact Lisa's ego cannot life with. The story also has a delightful gay couple, Henry and John, who won the large healthcare facility where they all work. Typical of Folger's other books, it has great love scenes, especially between Michelle and Jennifer, along with humor and drama. This book has it all. I highly recommend this book along with Folger's other books! I so appreciate seeing lesbian romance novels being written about older lesbians. It isn't all about the 20 something's. This book kind of made no sense to me. If Lisa loved Michelle like she claimed she could of easily broken up with Peggy and got with Michelle. Lisa's character in the book made no sense. Michelle spent the whole damn book waiting on Lisa to come to her. It's like she kind of settled for Jennifer because to me she really wanted Lisa. The shenanigans Lisa played were uncalled for, her and Michelle could have easily gotten together. The second book was soooo much better than this one....this one was all over the place...
Ok. I will be the first to give this book a bad review.
Honestly I am having trouble finding any positives in this book. I didn't think it was funny and the characters were never fully developed. Mainly because everything revolved around work and the work place but as a reader I never could decide if I even liked any of the characters. Except Karen who was really one of the main characters.
This book had A LOT of tragedy and I never once cried for any of the characters. I usually cry at the drop of a at, which gives you some perspective about how I felt about the book.
Michelle was in love with two people. One she couldn't have (Lisa) and the other(Jennifer) that she strung along until Lisa (the one I think she really wanted) said that they would never be together as a couple. Then she decided that Jennifer was the better choice. Done.
I am not sure why it is getting such great reviews. Maybe I missed something.
